Terms
We aim to provide an friendly and relaxed atmosphere at the Western Isles Hotel. So you won't find lots of signs telling you what to do and what not to do. However, we are still a business and we've tried to set out our terms of contract here. The most important thing is that if you have any special requirements, then do let us know in advance
CHECK-IN is from 3.00 pm until 10.00 pm. If you are likely to arrive later than this, please let us know in advance.
CHECK-OUT is from 11.00 am.
We take credit card details to secure your booking. The card will only be charged if you cancel your room within 48 hours of your planned arrival date when you will be charged the first nights stay. The only exception to this is for the few dates when we do charge a deposit (see below).
The Western Isles Hotel is a non-smoking hotel. If a guest smokes in their room then we will charge them £100. This contributes towards the cost of being unable to let the room immediately and the extra cleaning involved. If the guest continues to smoke in their room then they will be asked to leave.
DEPOSITS. On occasion we do charge deposits. Whether it's for a wedding, a big party, a group booking, Music Festival, Christmas or Hogmanay, we reserve the right to charge a non-returnable deposit. We will of course tell you at the time of booking. We strongly recommend you take out insurance to cover the lost cost to you in the event you have to cancel.
