Christmas Day

These are the details for last year - we're already working on 2010 and will update our website just as soon as we're able.

Join us at the Western for a wonderful Christmas celebration.  Here’s a 2 day break which you can extend for as long as you like to make the most of your stay in beautiful Tobermory.

CHRISTMAS EVE:  THURSDAY 24TH DECEMBER

Arrive at the Western Isles and warm yourself with a complementary dram of Tobermory malt or tea and scones in front of the roaring fire.  Christmas is a relaxed affair at the Western Isles, apart from meals, there’ll be nothing organized so you can plan to spend your time exactly how you want to spend it.

Dinner in the restaurant is included on Christmas Eve, served between 7.00 and 9.00.

Why not join in one of the local evening service and return the hotel for
warm mince pies and hot chocolate!

CHRISTMAS DAY:  FRIDAY 25TH DECEMBER

Join us for a complementary glass of Champagne before settling down to enjoy Adam and his team’s fabulous Christmas Day lunch.  Lunch is a leisurely affair, so book a table and join us anytime between 12.30 and 2.30 in the restaurant.

For a post-prandial stroll, why not head down to the harbour or stroll to Aros Park and take a brisk walk around the lochans.

In the evening between 7.00 and 8.30 we’ll be serving a light supper in the Conservatory.   Dine from our delicious buffet of cold meats and salads.  The bar will be open all evening.

Caledonian MacBrayne have published their ferry timetable so there is no ferry service on the 25th December, and only a limited service on the 26th, so you may like to extend your stay.  Special rates are available if you arrive before the Christmas or stay well on into the end of December.

As ever, island life presents as many challenges as delights.  During the Festive Period deliveries are often sporadic and supplies may vary from what we plan.  We’ll do our best, but do remember the menu may change.
